Auto to Manual Transmission Conversions
We began FX JDM by specializing in automatic to manual conversions for FD RX-7s!
Referencing original factory documentation and utilizing OEM parts, we do everything. From making custom wrapped wiring harnesses for the OEM manual transmission sensors, swapping the driveshaft and differentials, to even fabricating clutch pedals using OEM pedal faces. Our goal is for you to hop into one of our Manual swapped cars, and believe it came that way from the factory.

Engine Remove and Replace (Crate Engine)
We have our own inventory of brand new Mazda crate shortblocks for the 13B-REW. We aim to refresh or revive stock cars to keep as many RX-7s on the road as we can for ourselves.

Power Upgrades
We’ve been driving modified twin turbo RX-7’s tuned by the best minds in the business since the early 2000’s. Despite great success, some of us have always craved a bit more power than the stock twins offer.
We’re developing a process to perform Single Turbo conversions with name-brand kits, and looking to collaborate with rotary tuning professionals.

Restoration
As our favorite JDM platforms reach thirty years of age, many examples have been lost to time.
Due to age, rust, or even crashes, the amount of our favorite machines on the road dwindles each year. We do everything we can to restore and bring back examples within our scope using OEM parts from our inventory or through our sources.

Suspension and Brakes
We’ve got plenty of experience servicing and installing brakes. With aftermarket kits, or just fresh pads and a bleed, we never forget about the most important aspects of our vehicles.
We also evaluate the integrity of our suspension components and install frequently, and service or repair what’s needed.

We have knowledge on the factory sequential turbo system, EGR system, and just about any other part that could leak or cause issues.
